Chains of Silver and Blood
Sea of Gold
The Sea of Gold is a shallow sea named for the golden shade its waters take every morning at sunrise. Sea monsters rarely prowl it, prefering the fish-rich water of the Dreaming Sea. The fish here are mostly small (though plenty of species are colorful), but many types of comestible algae are found near the coasts.
As such, most villages on its coasts farm both on land and out at sea, and fishermen are relatively rare compared to the rest of the region.
Some sailors say that in somewhere in the center of the sea is a sunken city, once a proud settlement of white stone crowned with many towers, the tallest of which still pierces the surface of the water when the tide is low enough. Others scoff as such tales, but recently, an enterprising member of the guild has begun to recruit people for an expedition to the lost city.
